Hey Samuel, I listened to this from all the way in Australia. I thought it was well put together, the rhythm of the lyrics over the chords was great. I wouldn’t have had the lead guitar doodling in the verse tho. It didn’t seem well put together and the part before both singers dragged a little bit overall I thought it was pretty good and kept me entertained.

From the time you were born you started picking little words. At that time you could not speak advance words. You could not have a conversation with someone, because you were still a baby. When you grow up gradually you picked up things little by little. You picked the right words and you started having conversations or dialog with somebody else.

Singing louder and singing softer should take the same amount of breath support, and vocal strain should not be experienced, either way. Using diaphragm breathing, these variations can be controlled throughout the song. Try alternatively bringing your right and left hands forward, one after and over the other. 3 bad habits to avoid would be: (don’t worry too much, though… a lot of good singers do this) Clearing your throat. It grinds your vocal folds together. (I’m guilty of that. 😞) Don’t even think about it. It makes you want to. Also, don’t sing way out of your comfortable range. Who isn’t guilty of this? Many popular male singers (me too) sing way higher they probably should. Don’t drink anything but water before, and don’t eat anything sticky/sweet before. It makes it harder to sing and reduces your vocal range.
It is a bit weird for an athiest, though. One other options that I’ve heard of, and been meaning to try, is a workers’ choir. There’s one in most large cities, I think. Of course! To a certain extent. There are some aspects that you can improve, such as staying on tune, breathing, articulation, expression, etc. The voice you’re born with is, however, is the voice you are stuck with.
According to a couple of websites, the best way to learn how to sing is with a vocal teacher, a recorder, and practice. But let’s say I don’t have the means to get a vocal teacher right now. What other resources are available to me that I can use to sound better?
For example, a younger student will have more time to develop his or her voice, while an older student will more easily pick up on difficult skills like sight reading. Students of all ages are encouraged to join our online singing classes!  
In the Rockshow program, you are matched with other musicians at similar skill levels. With the help of an experienced band coach, your band will learn a few songs and get tips on performance techniques. Hi… so when I sing I think I sound really good, but then I record it and listen to it and I sound really young (I’m 15, by the way) and shy, and my voice just sounds really unnatural. Certainly don’t begin heavy practicing in earnest without seeking a teacher’s advice. HI Alex, You are probably a high tenor voice. It’s best to take some voice lessons and learn how to use it to get it sounding as good as it can. High tenor voices are sought after so I think if you embrace it you will find it is an asset. This is a simple way to practice hitting the right note and singing with good pitching. If you have a digital tuner for your instrument (e.g. a guitar tuner) you can use that, otherwise you can use an online tuner like this one.
Bottom line: It was nice and I did saw some improvement but after a couple of months and hundreds of dollars that were gone, I did not feel I was getting enough of the improvement that I was looking for, and it was way too much money anyways, so I decided to look for other methods. I turned online and researched the different singing courses that are available.
your chest with both hands, then, raise your chest higher than normal. Take a breath in and then exhale, but don’t drop your chest. Sing one note and hold it as long as possible with your chest raised. Press on your chest halfway through the note (press kind of hard and raise your chest to meet the pressure). Relax the back of your neck and keep your jaw open as you’re singing “ahhh.” Imagine the air spinning around in your mouth while keeping your chin tucked down a bit and your chest raised. Keep in mind, overuse of vibrato is not a good thing in contemporary singing (pop, rock, and R&B). At the same time, no vibrato is also not a good thing. So, try ending phrases with straight tone, then into a little bit of vibrato. The bottom line is to do what’s best for you.

Staying away from caffeine, smoke, and alcohol. Those three substances can damage your voice. If you want to sing well, you have to avoid at least going overboard – drinking too much coffee, chain smoking, and taking in a lot of alcoholic beverages.

Just bear in mind that HearAndPlay is very much Gospel & R&B/Soul oriented – this fact sometimes throws some people off. However, this does not mean that they only teach Gospel songs, so don’t run away scared now.
This schedule will develop your singing muscles (provided you are practicing proper technique). As they continue to get stronger, your voice will get better and better. You will continue to find new high and low notes. Your voice will begin to function as one instrument, not two or three separate instruments.
This is a quick trick that makes you sound better instantly. Say A-E-I-O-U (watch your jaw movement in the mirror). Did your jaw close on any of the vowels? Chances are your jaw closed on the E and the U – and most likely on others too, if not all of them. Take your first two fingers and pull your jaw down 2 inches (or even better – use a plastic bottle cap or a cork (wine) to prop your jaw open). And speak the vowels again. And repeat again (we’re trying to re-program muscle memory – so the more the better). Now sing the vowels on one pitch. A-E-I-O-U. Your goal is to keep your jaw open (long not wide) without closing for all of your vowels. Repeat until you can do it. Now sing a phrase of one of your songs – and make sure your jaw opens to the same position on all of your vowels. You have to practice this a bunch before it becomes natural – but the more you do, the sooner this new movement is programmed into your muscle memory. And, you might be one of those lucky ones who notice the improvement in the sound right away (it will sound louder and more resonant with less vocal strain). If you don’t – don’t sweat it – you will. It just takes a little practice. (You might have some unwanted tension in your neck, jaw and throat muscles – try loosening them up and try it again.) The next time you perform open your jaw more on your vowels — it’s a quick trick that makes you sound better instantly!
