Doing the exercises every day for 8 weeks will definitely improve you and give you a larger sense of confidence in your singing. As to the price, based on the fact that it’s a full course for the price of two-three lessons with a real teacher – for me it was easily worth it.
For the next 20 minutes, study a song to learn the melody and rhythm. While memorizing the lyrics, work on your diction, pronunciation, and vocal tone. And finally, for the last 20 minutes you can practice vocal techniques including ear training, harmony, and sight reading.

I don’t understand the first one… it says to make sure your mouth doesn’t close some to generate different sound… but based on my knowlege of language, and me trying to do this, it is impossible to make different tones without moving your jaw. It would clearly sound like “cah homwah eekein thih to re” Can someone explain this to me?

Breath Relaxation: Releases tension often associated in the breathing mechanism that can interfere with effective voice production. Ordinarily, if there is tension when breathing, that tension radiates to the voice box muscles. Take a normal breath and then exhale. Make sure your shoulders and chest are low and relaxed. Repeat many times making sure that your breaths are focused low in the abdomen and that there is not associated chest, neck, or shoulder tension while breathing. You can place one hand on your abdomen to remind you to keep the focus low and away from the chest and shoulders. Hold an “s” sound like in hiss when you exhale.

I’ve learned many things along my journey, and I would love to help other singers realize their full potential.
If you notice the keys on the piano, note that the pitch “do” occurs more than once along the keys. The entire range of notes from one “do” to the next is called an octave. As your vocal range expands, you may achieve the ability to sing several octaves. To practice this, a piano would be very helpful. Press the key of the note “do” on the piano. This may be anywhere, depending on the type of instrument you have, such as a soprano, alto, or mezzo. Note that your voice will be traveling in an uprising fashion, so choose the spot accordingly. Start from a pitch you can comfortably sing. If you are an alto, it is best to start at a spot further down on the piano. Likewise, if you sing soprano, start higher. Mezzos should find a spot somewhere in between, midway throughout the keys. If you do not know your vocal type, make an estimate and find what works for you. Press the key “do” on the piano, and match pitch with your voice. Hold out this note as long as you comfortably can. Then, press the “do” one octave higher than the one you were singing and match pitch, holding it out accordingly. If you find this is too high for you, either start lower from the beginning, or you could try half of an octave by going from “do” to “so” instead. After singing the higher note “do” match pitch with the lower one again and sing it out to a comfortable extent. If you are a beginner, this may be enough octave training for the day. If you choose to persevere and move on, try singing out the note “re” as long as you comfortably can, then matching pitch with the higher note “re” and holding it as long as you may. Then hold out the lower note “re” once more. Try this practice with the notes “mi, fa,, so, la, ti, etc. depending on the stretch of your range. This exercise is intended to lengthen and strengthen the range of your vocal chords. Please be cautioned of straining your instrument.
Module 5 contains many new singing exercises. Aaron will also provide you with a thorough explanation as to why he is getting you to do all these different exercises and techniques. Always remember to go through everything for you not to miss any of the great stuff.
Here’s an extra tip: don’t throw the recordings away! Save each one, putting the song name and today’s date in the filename. Then, after a few days of practicing a song, come back and listen to one of your earlier performances. You’ll most likely be able to hear a big improvement and that will encourage you to keep at it.
Some musicians are born with a natural “ear” for hearing and matching pitches; others may need a bit of practice, and that’s totally OK! Many singers — even professionals — have a tendency to slide sharp or flat, and it’s something they have to continually practice and correct.
The next time you sing an ascending vocal scale or you sing a high note,  try thinking of the way an elevator works. A heavy weight is attached to a  pulley and as the weight pulls down, the elevator actually goes up to the higher floors. So, the highest floor is reached when the weight is the heaviest. Similarly, you should think down for your high notes or think of adding weight (resistance) to your highest notes.

A. You are not alone in that wish. If you have a creative bone in your body, you’ll feel this way. You need to interview prospective voice teachers and tell them this. Try to find a teacher who will diagnose your basic problems in how you produce sound, but not pass judgment on the style. I say this because depending on the city you live in, you may have access to teachers who specialize, as performers, in one style more than another. New York is flush with teachers who are professional classical or theater singers, and LA is packed to the gills with teachers who make a living in the recording industry. But a good teacher- even one who’s sings differently from you- should develop you in a way that is appropriate for your voice type and applicable to your style.
Hellomy name is Arrolla , I have recently developed rattling in my throat. I’m very frustrated because I can’t get rid of it, at first I thought it was a cold or the flu, but then it stayed for a long time.
