Everyone has their own voice and whether we realize it or not, nearly all of us strive to find and develop it. Whether our voice is quite literally a speaking voice, or whether it is expressed through career, lifestyle, or relationships with friends and family, chances are that we have found a vocation and endeavored to grow with and through it at some point in our lives. Our voice is the biggest part of who we are for one simple reason: it identifies our unique, individual character, and allows us to share that with the world.
Some studies have even shown vocal improvements among the tone deaf after working with a singing teacher! These studies prove that even if you think you have a terrible voice, you can in fact learn how to sing.
Let me give you an example of how knowledge can begin to improve your singing immediately. One of the most important aspects of singing is breath-management, which just means having enough air and learning how to best use the air that you have. Well, while there is a lot to that, one thing is primary, and it’s something that you can do right now if you know it. And here it is.
It depends on what level the student is on and that is where we will go with the lesson. If you are a beginner we will start with the very basics. I try to make it to where you can easily understand everything taught. The most important part of the lesson is you are having fun with playing the guitar and also getting as much information as possible. Upper level students may want to go over a song they are learning or want to know about theory or chords. Usually we will talk about where you are at with your playing and then go from there.
Learning how to become a singer — whether you dream of selling out large arenas or simply want to feel more confident at karaoke night — takes time and patience. If you’re wondering how long exactly, read on as Orange, CA teacher Adri-Anne R. shares her insights…   When students start voice lessons, they will often ask me, “How long will I have to take lessons before I start to get better?” I have to ask them, “How often and how long are you willing to practice?” In my experien
The course covers every basic aspect of singing. It also includes different vocal warm-ups and exercises. Singorama could have been a great course all-in-all except for it being totally software based, meaning all your training will only be through your computer.

Even a pro singer like me likes to keep up to date on technique. I first had pro singing lessons back in the early 2000’s, but in 2012 I purchased the 4 Pillars of singing course as I was intrigued by Robert’s technique. His training helped me develop my head voice to be more powerful, and helped me remove resistance in my vocal break.
I was ok at staying in tune. But some singers also struggle with that too. But they think singing in tune is a “natural talent” that some people just don’t have. “Natural Talent” is a mis-leading term.
I am an opera singer who has experience teaching multiple genres including pop, rock, jazz and classical. I create monthly plans for my students and teach them techniques to feel in control of their singing and confident.
You’ve probably heard the word “tone” a lot as a singer, but what exactly does it mean? Is tone something you need to improve or develop? Not exactly. Your tone can’t be changed; it’s your unique “vocal thumbprint” and is primarily determined by the shape of your head, throat, and sinuses.

nging, maintain their skill level and keep their voice safe. Techniques are used to increase vocal power and control, improve tonal quality and diction, and correct pitch issues. Students are provided on-site (performance) support and post performance reviews. Singing opportunities also may be identified and students are aided in preparing for auditions and recordings. By utilizing my strong teaching strategies and coaching techniques, one of my students, Dana Harper, participated on NBC’s 2016 season of THE VOICE. She competed through the “battle” rounds of the competition.
Here’s an extra tip: don’t throw the recordings away! Save each one, putting the song name and today’s date in the filename. Then, after a few days of practicing a song, come back and listen to one of your earlier performances. You’ll most likely be able to hear a big improvement and that will encourage you to keep at it.

Tone deafness is a real condition. As part of amusia, tone deafness means that you are incapable of hearing the differences between musical pitches.

Whether it’s been your lifelong dream to have a beautiful voice, or you want to impress your friends in the choir, or you think American Idol is in your future, your singing voice won’t improve on it’s own. Traditionally, the few people that could afford it would hire expensive voice coaches to improve their voice, pitch, and breathing. After hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars, they would usually emerge with a better singing voice.
Some singers have larger ranges (such as Michael Jackson), and some have smaller ranges (such as Taylor Swift). You can find your vocal range by following the simple steps outlined below. Note: you may need the help of a singing teacher to get more accurate results.
A very useful framework for practising vocal control is solfa (a.k.a. “solfege” or “do re mi”). This is a system where you give a name to each note in the scale, which makes it easier to understand which note you’re aiming for each time you change pitch.
The key to this exercise is to make sure you are listening carefully as you practice. Don’t just rely on the tuner’s display. Try to always hear whether you are too high or too low before checking the display. That way you are gradually developing your own inner tuner so that in future your feedback loop can work directly without the assistance of a digital tuner.
And if you think that Singorama doesn’t work for you, there’s no need to worry because this product offers a 60-day money back guaranteed period making it risk-free. So you can be totally assured that you’ll have nothing to lose.

I fully believe that music is beneficial to everyone that comes into contact with it; with small children, it enhances learning and cultivated concentration. With older kids, it boosts confidence and sharpens listening skills while using math, problem solving, and hand-eye coordination skills. Whether you are singing, playing piano, doing theory homework, or yan ear training course, I can help! I have been teaching for about 8 years and have been in the Dallas area since summer 2016. Remember to practice even on your busiest days. As with physical exercise, even a 10-minute workout each day is better than nothing. If you have a commute, try practicing in the car. If you don’t have much time alone, ask your voice teacher for a few quiet exercises that you can do.
Every singer has a range of notes their voice is physically capable of producing. There are advanced techniques and long-term training which can extend this, but as a beginner you want to make sure you stay comfortable in your “easy” range. As soon as you start stretching your voice too high or too low your pitching will suffer (and so will your listeners!)
So now, it’s your turn. I’d like to hear anything you have in mind about these courses. Have you had any experiences with online singing lessons? Which of them helped you improve your singing voice? Share your thoughts, I am open for discussions and comments. I would love to hear about them!

Your voice is a delicate instrument. While a pianist can practice for hours upon hours every day, singers cannot. Why? Unlike other instruments, the entire vocal apparatus is a sensitive part of your body.

A proper warm-up is incredibly important before using your voice, as is staying hydrated at all times, which keeps your vocal cords from getting irritated. You also might notice specific foods that affect your voice. Some singers find that they don’t perform well after eating or drinking dairy, for example.
