Most people want to become a singer, but aren’t willing to invest in themselves to improve their craft. But you – you’re different. You know that even the best singers in the world constantly work and learn to improve themselves – often with a professional vocal coach.
Vocal strengthening exercises are designed to push your voice and increase its ability. To continue with the analogy, they would be the workout or the race, whereas the vocal warm ups are the stretch, the warm up.
What are you saying? Why are you singing it that way? Is that how you want to sound? Is that who you want to be?… etc. I’m not a vocal coach for teaching you technique – I work more on helping you develop a style for recording studio.

The only thing that may throw some people off is the fact that HearAndPlay is a company that specializes in Gospel Music. Don’t run away scared now, just because of that, doesn’t mean they’ll turn you into a Gospel singer. The fact is with the HearAndPlay system you’ll learn how to master a soulful, full and powerful voice no matter what genre of music you sing. I highly recommend this product. Read our full Vocal Mastery Review.
Keep in mind though not to practice for long periods of time. Aim for anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes each day, and stop practicing as soon as you start to feel vocally fatigued, or ideally right before.
For example, a younger student will have more time to develop his or her voice, while an older student will more easily pick up on difficult skills like sight reading. Students of all ages are encouraged to join our online singing classes!
ts own individual learning style. In my lessons, I highlight important principles right from the start, such as posture, proper fingering, and rhythm training, to ensure no bad habits form that later are hard to break. As we become more confident in our playing, we transfer some of the traits contained within us. Those traits become the character and style of our “musical speech,” which will help to define us as musicians. I recommend books and provide sheet music when we start learning songs. Learning music with me has been said by many of my students as, “the most fun they have ever had playing music.”

If you want to learn how to sing, then you must understand that singing is a highly physical activity and so you ought to sing with your entire body as opposed to making use of just your vocal chords. Professional singers are acquainted with that and can stage-manage 3 types of singing voices. These include chest voice, middle voice and head voice.
Do as many or as few hours per day as you want. Practice and study whenever you want, not during the allotted hours of a tutor. Save time and money by being able to learn from home, and not having to travel for singing lessons.
Okay, let’s talk for a second about the two different types of vocal lessons. The first are vocal warm ups. These are great for the purpose they serve, which is to wake your voice up and prepare it for more strenuous activity—singing! They are great for maximizing your current vocal ability and range. Vocal warm ups can be compared to stretching before working out or before a race.
Although singing isn’t the most difficult skill to learn, it’s definitely more complex than it seems. To some learners, singing comes naturally and they can create beautiful vocals with very little practice or effort.
