Private vocal coaching was not the road I wanted to go. I needed someone who can help me become a professional singer. You see, I live in a small and uneventful town (very unlike LA or New York). The local vocal coaches could not help me become a real singer.
I am an accomplished vocal coach and songwriter and currently work with a wide variety of singers from young beginners to professionals who look to develop through ear training, singing and songwriting. In a unique way I guide people to become better performers and musicians through the combination of voice, piano and composition.
I used to kinda like singing along with some of my favorite singers and I guess I kinda still do but I’m kinda afraid to let anyone actually hear me cause in the past I’ve been told that I haven’t got a bad voice but something about my tune of voice I don’t know and it’s kinda made me a little self-conscious.

5 Point Singing System received a just above average rating in our review. While we like the credibility of an actual person with professional singing experience, we are a little hesitant with the amount of information provided for the actual lessons. We found that some of the higher ranked companies gave more information and provided better overall customer service.

Yes, this is a good start. You must also be careful not to strain yourself. It is not the only thing you should be doing, however. Take a look at the list one more time, and see what else you can find. Try another answer…
If you want to learn how to sing, you need to practice daily. Singing lessons will help considerably, but if you can’t take them, there are still ways you can learn on your own. Then I’ll do the same but with the record button pressed. Again, I keep rewinding (and erasing the recording) until I’m reasonably happy. By this time, I may still not be able to sing the song very well but I’ll certainly have learnt a whole lot about how to sing it.
Practice your major scales, starting with the middle C, moving down in half-steps before moving up. Don’t push yourself before you’re actually singing, and try to move slowly. As you continue to warm up, you’ll get better at articulating all the notes in the scales.

@bobobobo: I think the problem with the Lilli Lehmann (How to Sing) is not so much the age (I see English 1902, German 1900!) as that it seems to be a rather stilted translation from the German. – PJTraill Dec 7 ’17 at 21:27
I started playing recognizable melodies on the piano at 18 months old. At that time I was told that I even had perfect pitch. By age 5, my mother started giving me classical, gospel, and improvisational lessons. I was one of her 50 students until my senior year in high school. Through elementary, junior high, and high school, I received a lot of performance experience from school marching/concert bands, choirs, church choirs, piano concerts, band/choral conducting, and composing.
