It happened to me when I first got to this point. It is normal to have some difficulty during the first five weeks so no need to worry. Just stick with it and you will be surprised with the major improvements in your voice.

I know that there are still many out there who opt for traditional ways of learning how to sing, and that means hiring vocal coaches or taking classes. But more and more now prefer to learn on the Internet. The idea of singing lessons online may seem odd, but as I will show it has a lot of benefits.
What I think about the teacher: I like Aaron’s style since he speaks very coherently and gets his message across in a nice way and without blabbering. If you like watching YouTube lessons so you know this isn’t something trivial. You can check him out in his YouTube channel and judge for yourself. I still follow his channel even though I finished the main singing course two years ago since he regularly uploads good stuff and singing tips.

Breath Relaxation: Releases tension often associated in the breathing mechanism that can interfere with effective voice production. Ordinarily, if there is tension when breathing, that tension radiates to the voice box muscles. Take a normal breath and then exhale. Make sure your shoulders and chest are low and relaxed. Repeat many times making sure that your breaths are focused low in the abdomen and that there is not associated chest, neck, or shoulder tension while breathing. HI Alex, You are probably a high tenor voice. It’s best to take some voice lessons and learn how to use it to get it sounding as good as it can. High tenor voices are sought after so I think if you embrace it you will find it is an asset. You can find online exercises for this, especially increasing your upper range by learning the “mixed voice” register. You really are better at anything you do when you do it with confidence, I haven’t haven’t sang in a while since I lost my guitar but I use to have half@sssd confidence in it. To be honest, when you’re hitting the higher notes, you should be shifting from your chest to your head voice anyway, so you asthma is less of a problem for higher notes and more of a problem when singing constantly low. Primatene tablets at Walmart (they’re behind the counter so you have to ask but they’re not prescription) before you sing for a long time will help a lot.
Every singer has a range of notes their voice is physically capable of producing. There are advanced techniques and long-term training which can extend this, but as a beginner you want to make sure you stay comfortable in your “easy” range. As soon as you start stretching your voice too high or too low your pitching will suffer (and so will your listeners!)
I still can’t get a vibrato working at all. I’ve been researching forever and just can’t figure out what’s wrong with me. Does my voice need to be stronger first before the vibrato will come? I feel like at the moment i’m simply practicing “laaa” repeatedly with no outcome. My ultimate goal is just have a vibrato, doesn’t even need to be a good one, i just want the experience of having one.
