I liked the idea, but the execution is severely lacking in what could be considered instructional guidance. There is no description of what you are supposed to do or achieve in the exercises. There is no explanation of the score you recieve, or how to improve. The songs from which you chose your goal are very limited, and yet you need to have your own Spodify account to use the entire song. On top of that, the limited list doesn’t have a trade off, such as added lyrics to follow or well-separated vocal and backing tracks. When it’s time to sing with the music, you can barely hear the instruments. Very disappointing.

A lot of breathing exercises incorporate singing different sounds on pitches and working up and down the scale. Making sure you breathe from your belly and support your voice throughout the entire exercise is the key to power.
Try practicing holding a note and keeping it steady and clear, using your diaphragm. But controlling your voice is all about learning your vocal strengths and building on them. Practice, practice, practice! What worked for me was picking a song that fit my vocal range and tone, then singing along with that. Recording yourself practicing is great, because then you can listen back and look at the areas where you could have been stronger, or held a note more clearly, then repeat. I guarantee after the first few recordings you’ll notice the difference. I have a very soft voice, but have been able to strengthen it.

Hi, I’ve been trying for a really long time to make my voice stronger and louder. I can sing high notes and low notes but really softly. I don’t understand the first one… it says to make sure your mouth doesn’t close some to generate different sound… but based on my knowlege of language, and me trying to do this, it is impossible to make different tones without moving your jaw. Keep in mind that if you’ve never taken singing classes or lessons, you will have a much more limited range than a trained singer, especially when it comes to the upper range. So be careful not to wrongly label your voice as “low” until you’ve had some proper training.

For clarinet and oboe students I like to compliment what their band/orchestra director is using when possible. I also love the Klose method for clarinet. The Rubank is also a tried and true book I use. I’ve had a lot of success with these books.
