Without a doubt, you’ll find parts you weren’t happy with. Don’t criticise yourself for this! Every negative thing you notice is an opportunity to improve. Like when you found out you weren’t tone deaf, this just shows that you have the awareness you need to be able to improve. Exciting!
A. You have the easiest problem for me to solve. My techniques utilize  a whole new genre of voice exercises that work your tone, diction and vowels for pop placement and other modern styles, but retains the flexibility you’ve developed so far. I invented this technique for this exact type of change over, and it really works.
I bought this course and I started just couple of days ago. It is still early to say anything, but I am afraid that I will not be able to say: OK my voice is now better, I sing much better. I mean, how do I even know that I sing the tones correctly (for example in the warming exercises)? And exercises look a bit silly, like Aron is saying: “Hi, I took your money and now you even make yourself stupid in your free time.”
Depending on the style of play the guitarist is interested in I move on from there. Mel Bays Classical method is always a solid choice as is the Christopher Parkening Guitar method. I also have a few tab oriented books and some rock/blues oriented books.
Humming: Highlights anterior frontal vibrations in your lips, teeth and facial bones. Begin with lips gently closed with jaw released. Take an easy breath in and exhale while saying “hum”. Begin with the nasal sound /m/ and gently glide from a high to a low pitch as if you were sighing. Don’t forget your vocal cool down after extensive vocal use. Gently humming feeling the focus of the sound on the lips is an excellent way to cool down the voice. You should hum gentle glides on the sound “m” feeling a tickling vibration in the lip/nose are.
This can be intimidating and unnerving at first – but it’s still less scary than singing in front of other people, right? You can be alone in your room to do it, and the only person who’ll ever hear the recordings is you. So there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

We would move a little faster for the older beginner and work through the Alfred’s All in One in conjunction with introducing my 5 steps to performance for any popular style. These steps have been very valuable for those that are wanting to play piano, guitar, bass, or even sing.
This is a quick trick that makes you sound better instantly. Say A-E-I-O-U (watch your jaw movement in the mirror). Did your jaw close on any of the vowels? Chances are your jaw closed on the E and the U – and most likely on others too, if not all of them. Take your first two fingers and pull your jaw down 2 inches (or even better – use a plastic bottle cap or a cork (wine) to prop your jaw open). And speak the vowels again. And repeat again (we’re trying to re-program muscle memory – so the more the better). Now sing the vowels on one pitch. A-E-I-O-U. Your goal is to keep your jaw open (long not wide) without closing for all of your vowels. Repeat until you can do it. Now sing a phrase of one of your songs – and make sure your jaw opens to the same position on all of your vowels. You have to practice this a bunch before it becomes natural – but the more you do, the sooner this new movement is programmed into your muscle memory. And, you might be one of those lucky ones who notice the improvement in the sound right away (it will sound louder and more resonant with less vocal strain). If you don’t – don’t sweat it – you will. It just takes a little practice. (You might have some unwanted tension in your neck, jaw and throat muscles – try loosening them up and try it again.) The next time you perform open your jaw more on your vowels — it’s a quick trick that makes you sound better instantly!

If you have taken lessons in the past and want to pick up where you left off, a more qualified (and thus pricier) teacher may be the better choice. You’re beyond the basics now and need to advance your voice beyond your comfort zone – so an experienced teacher is critical.

Doing all the exercises will make it work effectively for you. Buying it and just letting it sit on your computer will be of no help at all. To start singing like a pro fast, buy the course and go through all the lessons. Two months is a short period to develop from not being able to hit a tune to singing like a professional.
So far I sing Fly Me to the Moon by Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra we’ll, still need to work on Dynamics, and Soft Attacks on the Power Phrases, but my instructor wants me to learn and practice Against All Odds, holy moly that song is very hard for me, not sure what is holding me back, I realized tonight that the phrases are a lot longer and there is less time to breathe in for the next one, any Suggestions ?? My mind is stuck in trying to impersonate the artist and duplicate their sound vs using my own natural voice.

Learn to “cover the voice” for a fuller sound. Resonant, rounded sound is formed by opening the throat and by limiting the nasality. This is called “covering the voice.” Be careful, however. If you cover it too much, it may become to airy and mushy sounding.
If your child has no choir opportunities, get him/her voice lessons that are gentle and fun, which use a combination of pure singing and easy pop singing. They’ll develop good habits but stay interested. During puberty for boys or after puberty for girls, give them private lessons. At this age they’ll have the body size and hormones to support the voice. Any professional performing child should have a voice teacher to keep them from damaging their voice.

If you can’t find any teacher or you are too shy to sing through it, try to practice singing with your friend who loves to hear you sing or loves singing. Ask them to come to your home and go practice in a small room and keep on doing it till you’ve done it for five or six months. It really does help.
The next step is to work on your vocal power. Vocal power requires proper breathing and diaphragm control. Add some breathing exercises to your daily warm-up, and pay attention to correct positioning of your jaw, mouth, and body to help with this.
