You will suck if this is the attitude u give it. In order to have good vocals you also need to trust yourself!….. Close your eyes, and sing whatever comes….. twist the lyrics of already known songs, and use your current feelings. I bet youre trying to imitate other singers voices. Which is where youll sound like a mule cause every person has a different voice.

Vocal Tip:  A great way to isolate proper breathing muscles is to lie down on the floor on one’s back and place a book over lower abs.  As a singer inhales, the book should be rising up.  This method is easy to execute and will give one a beautiful vibrato and an agile voice, capable of singing trill and turns.

The amount of training you get across these modules is like having a vocal coach on call for months at a time. Lessons cover everything from singing power, tone, pitch, and they’re designed so you can progress as you want.
This isn’t a “hearing test”, it’s not checking for hearing damage or age-related hearing loss. And don’t worry about whether you have a “musical ear” or not. The tone deaf tests which are well-designed don’t require any musical knowledge or skill. They test only the basic biological ability of distinguishing different pitches. You can be totally unmusical and still pass the test, because tone deafness isn’t actually about musical skill, it’s much more fundamental than that.
The supplemental content in this course comes with a 124-page manual that will tackle everything you need to learn about becoming a professional singer. Although it does not get into details about the business side of things, Aaron discusses thoroughly how to strengthen your voice and how to do the different vocal techniques.
4 good habits would be: If a song is too high: Use your resonant (so-called “head”) voice. It can increase your range about a half octave. (6 semitones exactly, for me) If you have no idea what I mean by head voice, look it up. It’s a bit hard to explain. The other option is to sing louder (but don’t yell) if it is too high. My head voice is very weak, so I sing loud instead. Also, make your consonants clear. (I’m guilty of this one, too! 😄) If you sing into a mic, probably want to use the soft spongy covers for it if you get into this habit. That way you’re s’s won’t make everyone cringe from the high pitch. Don’t freak out if you suddenly sound terrible on one note. The closer you are to being on the correct note the worse it sounds, until our ears can’t hear the difference. And warm up first. Even if that’s singing a scale.
Another aspect I personally enjoyed was the accessibility of this program, as I could easily “pack” it on my laptop or tablet, and read it virtually anywhere – in the bus, at work, in the park, at Starbucks, etc.
Cool Down: Don’t forget your vocal cool down after extensive vocal use. Gently humming feeling the focus of the sound on the lips is an excellent way to cool down the voice. You should hum gentle glides on the sound “m” feeling a tickling vibration in the lip/nose are.

Last but not least, one of the most important qualities a singer can have is not necessarily a beautiful voice, but confidence! If you are firmly planted on the stage with a relaxed presence, you’re inviting your audience in and opening up your voice.
Drink lots of water, take a bath, use tiger balm on your neck (have someone massage your neck muscles if possible) or go to an acupunturist and rest your voice. Drink water. If you think drinking water is only good for physical fitness, newsflash: it’s great for vocal health, too. Load up on the H20 to keep your vocal folds hydrated, healthy, and ready to go. Breath down low and keep good posture.
I’m nervous when I arrive, but David instantly puts me at ease. I realise that finding a teacher who won’t judge you is crucial, because to get your voice in shape it’s helpful to put yourself through some embarrassing vocal exercises. Such as singing lyrics designed to help you pronounce vowels – never before have I been so passionate over a song about macaroni. Or having to sing while trying to lift David’s grand piano, the resultant strain forcing me to subconsciously belt out the notes with added volume.
I’m on the same opinion as Tret. How would you know? Besides the fact that you’ll feel you’re doing much better when you’re singing, (I know I did and I’m pretty sure anyone else who would do it almost every day for two months would feel the same) you can record yourself singing a song now and then when you finish.
