Your voice is part of your whole body and it’s affected by the movement of surrounding muscles. You need to make sure your posture is correct, and that the supporting muscles, incuding shoulders and neck are relaxed and warm, otherwise you could strain your voice, and risk injury.
Sing the pitches “do re mi fa so mi do.” Sing “zi-ya” on the pitches. “Zi” is to be sung on “do re mi fa” in legato. Make these notes smooth and connected. “Ya” is to be sung on “so mi do.” It is supposedly sung in staccato. Make these notes short and separate, just like you sang “ha.” Putting these concepts together requires practice, as it involves transitioning between concepts. When singing “zi,” try to keep the jaw relaxed. Do not open your mouth too wide. In fact,sing this note with a rounded mouth that is only slightly open. This way, you will achieve a soft sound that is round and full. When you sing “ya,” do not widen the mouth once again. Slightly elongate the shape of your mouth. Because this also involves arpeggiation to some extent, it is always best to leave your hand on your diaphragm.

Your chest voice is usually a deep sound produced at the lower part of one’s range. Head voice is softer and more gentle. Likewise, mask voice is a combination of the 2 and you can feel this vibration slightly below the eyes on the bones of your cheeks when you are singing in this register. Registers are simply the prospect of getting as many parts of your body in vibration as you sing. You will be able to know which register you are in because there is something called a “break” in your voice from one register to the next. Sing a note that is in the lower end of your range. As if a siren, move the pitch you are singing upward, allowing it to rise. If you go high enough, and depending on where you are with developing your vocal range, you will experience a “break” in the sound of your “siren” where the vocal sound gets cut off. This is natural, and we all have this “break.” The range of your voice before you reached this break was sung in chest register. The sound produced after the break in a softer voice was sung in head register. Mask voice, which is in between the 2 distinguishing principles, was sung throughout the median pitches of your given range, before you reached the “break” point.

However, the title “vocal coach” is sometimes used by teachers of the speaking voice for public speaking and acting. They rarely teach singing. The least confusing name is “speech and dialect coach”. A dialect coach teaches accents to actors.
My teaching style is very laid back, although goal-oriented. We have fun while seeing progress. For piano, I typically use the Alfred Series “Alfred Basics 1 – 6” or the Adult All-in-One for the Older Beginner. In the first 3 – 6 months, one will become familiar with basis technics and concepts behind creating music. @naught101 My criticism isn’t on the contents of the book and I’m not addressing the possibility that it may be wrong, but rather on the presentation of the text (which is archaic and hard to read). Just try and read the text yourself. It’s not good studying to learn from something that’s hard to grok while there are much more suitable books out there written in modern English. Hey, I’m 18 I always dream to become a Singer but am worry about my voice, so I try to take a vocal class but no vocal class in my places, I try many website to help myself out to make my voice clear but no way so please help me out,

If you just follow the proper singing lessons and proper instrument basics, you can sing and play. It is not difficult but simple. All you have to do is to put some effort. Finally, don’t be surprised if most voice teachers work you out with a smoother approach…I hesitate to use the word, Classical, to make you turn and run….but most good teachers have had some classical training in their background. But in fact, clear, melodic, scales and jumping exercises on 3/4 power will make all singers perform better, especially those with aggressive songs. Oh yes, I believe a teacher should help you become independent, so that you understand what you are doing right, and how to do it consistently.
Our speaking voice is always inside our comfortable singing range, so you can treat this as an “anchor note” or a starting point for exploring your range. From this note, try sweeping up and down in pitch with your voice.
What I think about it: I really liked the structure of the course. It is very easy to follow and understand, it shows you a “course progress” bar, and every week I gradually felt how I was constantly improving and my favorite songs that I like to sing while playing guitar (from Beatles to Dylan to Coldplay, Rock, Pop, some Jazz) just began to sound much better. I also felt how I could sing for a longer time without feeling “worn out” on the inside of my throat, thanks to the good techniques and habits I learned.
